John Zak is an actor and voice-over artist currently based in Philadelphia, PA. A member of AEA, John will be performing as Bottom in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and as Banquo in "Macbeth" with the Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre in their upcoming reparatory season.

Theater: John was last seen at the Walnut Street Theatre in "Red, White & Tuna." Other theatre credits: "The European Lesson" at Jo Stromgren Kompani (for the Philadelphia Live Arts/Norway tour, 2009), "Jihad Jones & the Kalashnikov Babes" at InterAct Theatre, "A Tuna Christmas" at the Walnut Street Theatre, "Galileo, Little Monk" at the Wilma, "Greater Tuna" at the Walnut, and "The Tempest" at Philadelphia Shakespeare, for which he won the Barrymore award for best supporting actor as Caliban.

Television: John watches a lot of television.

Movies: John gets movies from Netflix, but still doesn't have time to watch them and often wonders why he continues to pay for a service when he's not really getting the most out of it.

Over the past 10 years John also has been performing competitive improvisational comedy with Comedy Sportz.
